Full Circle: From Fairways to Fabric

Some things in life just feel like they’re meant to be.
Our HighCut warehouse, the heart of where we design, pack, and ship everything, is based on what used to be a local golf course. And funnily enough, it’s a place that holds a bit of history for both Dan and I.
Back in the day, when I was more about mates and mischief than mulligans, this was the only course that let us hire carts, so naturally, it became our go-to. Dan, on the other hand, was a member here. It’s also where he scored his only hole-in-one, a story that still gets a good laugh.
Fast forward a few years, and we’re back here. Not chasing birdies, but building a brand. Every morning, I look out at what was once a community golf hub, where plenty of first swings were taken, good yarns were spun, and the love of the game was born.
In a strange, almost poetic way, it’s come full circle. The fairways may be gone, but the spirit lives on, now as the home base for a New Zealand-made golf brand, fuelled by the same grassroots energy this place always had.
