Team HC at the All Abilities event at Royal Wellington

Last weekend, Team HC were lucky enough to be invited down to Royal Wellington Golf Club to join the All Abilities athletes for their official practice rounds ahead of the All Abilities Royal Wellington Tournament, one of the key events on the Disability Golf New Zealand calendar.
It was an awesome opportunity to spend time on the course with an inspiring group of golfers and be part of the build-up to an important tournament celebrating inclusive and adaptive golf in New Zealand. The practice round delivered perfect conditions and even better company, setting the tone for what turned into a massive weekend of All Abilities golf.
The following two days tested everyone. Royal Wellington turned on some seriously tough weather, with strong winds making conditions challenging across the course. But the athletes showed exactly why disability golf and adaptive golf continues to grow in Aotearoa. Every competitor battled hard, showed incredible resilience, and still produced two days of high-quality golf in conditions that demanded patience, focus, and determination.
A huge congratulations to all of the winners and competitors, the standard of golf on display was outstanding, and the spirit around the tournament was something special to witness.
One of the highlights for Team HC was seeing so many HighCut Golf shirts out on the course throughout the weekend. We’re incredibly proud to be the official members’ shirt partner of Disability Golf New Zealand and to support All Abilities golf across New Zealand. Being chosen as the apparel partner for such an important organisation means a lot to us as a proudly New Zealand golf brand.
At HighCut Golf NZ, supporting grassroots golf, inclusive sport, and the wider New Zealand golf community is at the heart of what we do. From local club days to national tournaments, our goal is always to help grow the game, back great people, and celebrate golf in all its forms.
Thank you to Disability Golf New Zealand and All Abilities Golf New Zealand, along with the organisers, volunteers, and athletes, for an unforgettable weekend. We’re proud to stand alongside both organisations and grateful for the opportunity to support disability golf and All Abilities golf in Aotearoa. We can’t wait to be involved in many more events in the future.
