What Goes Into a HighCut Design: Behind the Seams.

At HighCut, we don’t just slap a logo on a shirt and call it a day. Every piece we release is a product of thought, testing, and a bit of stubborn Kiwi grit. We design for the golfer who plays rain or shine, the one who hits the course before work or sneaks in a quick nine after dinner. Our gear has to hold up, feel good, and actually fit the game.
It all starts with an idea, usually sketched on a notebook, an iPad, or even the back of a scorecard. From there, we dive into the details. Which fabric performs best in NZ conditions? What cut works for all shapes and sizes? How does it look on the tee and at the pub after the round?
We sample. We test. We argue over small things like button size, collar shape, and even the wording on our wash tags. Those custom touches, like the internal labels and subtle logo placements, are what make HighCut feel like our brand, not something you’ll find off the rack.
We’re not chasing trends or copying what’s out there. We’re building a brand for Kiwis, by Kiwis, gear that reflects our lifestyle, our courses, and our way of playing the game.
That’s what goes into every HighCut design, because Nz golf deserves better than cookie-cutter.
